See how specific that is? The moment your dream client sees themselves in your content is the moment they start to trust that you understand them—and that you can help.


Step 2: Present the Path to Their Solution

Once they’re aware of the problem, your next job is to guide them toward the solution. And no, the solution isn’t always your program yet—it’s a process they can believe in.

Back to our example:

“The truth is, you don’t need five new offers. You need one. Start with your 1:1 coaching container and build your business from there. Your time, energy, and results will go further when you focus.”

This isn’t just about solving the problem. It’s about reframing the situation so your client feels empowered, capable, and seen.

In buyer psychology, this is called identity reinforcement—you’re helping them become the version of themselves they want to be.


Step 3: Insert Yourself as the Guide, Not the Hero

This is the most overlooked part of selling: You are not the hero of the story. Your client is.

Your role? The trusted guide who knows the way. The Yoda to their Luke Skywalker. The coach who gets them, not just someone who wants to “get” the sale.

Here’s how you insert yourself:
