What is it that makes my most successful students actually get an ROI in my programs? It’s a lot more simple than you think.
It’s not about whether they have kids, a family or if they’re single. It’s not about the number of followers they have. Or whether they were a service provider or coach.
So what DOES matter and how can you get the best ROI possible in your coaching investments?
If you’re working with a coach, or you’re looking at Mission Income, the easiest way to get better results is to show up.
If you’re someone who can’t attend calls because of scheduling, then submit questions, do material review, watch the recordings.
The thing about investments, whether you’re in a private mastermind, membership, or group program, is there’s a lot of opportunities to get support. In group programs, you can learn from others because they’re asking questions you didn’t think of.
When you spend a lot of time investing in your learning, you start seeing results. Yes, watch the videos but also show up, take up space, and use the container to your advantage.
The other piece is taking the feedback from your coach plus the information you learned and start taking action.
You don’t need to wait until the perfect time. There will never be a perfect time. A lot of these skills like sales and marketing are things you get good at when you practice.
The thing about taking action in business is that it compounds. So over days, months, and years, the more you show up and build your foundation the more results you see later.
Where people get stuck is because they don’t see results right away and so they back off from taking action.
If you’re someone who struggles to show up every day, work with your coach on a few tasks that will help you get closer to your goal. If you do 2-3 tasks every week, in 6 months you’re going to see all those results because you built momentum.
If you’re paying for a course – watch the videos. The people who see the most success are people who consume the content.
An example of this is one of my clients who wanted to sell after going through a dry period. She worked through the entire Buyer Psychology Course and Down in the DMs.
The fruits of her labor really started to pay off after that because she used the concepts she learned through the content and started to apply them.
Another piece to being successful in a program is to build your expertise in your own niche.
So whether it’s reading a book, taking a Coursera course, listening to podcasts… it’s important to keep building your knowledge in your area of expertise.
As you start to see some of the same concepts over and over again, you deepen your knowledge.
That doesn’t mean you have to spend all day every day honing your craft. Get some hobbies, spend time with your family and friends outside of business.
At some point, there is the law of diminishing returns where doing more isn’t going to help you get more results.
Rest is crucial as you build your business. You aren’t running a sprint, you’re running a marathon that lasts years and years.
Something I see a lot of entrepreneurs do is they don’t want to feel like a burden to their mentor so they don’t ask for help.
I want my clients to come in and ask me for help. I have clients who come to me and ask if I can look at a piece of content. Yes, that’s my job and you are not a burden.
If it’s somebody where I’ve looked extensively at their content and I know they can do it on their own, I’ll push them to do it on your own so they can build confidence.
Either way, I still want you to ask for help when you need it so as your coach I can help you move past challenges.
The last thing my most successful students have in common is consistently selling and creating content.
Whether you like creating podcasts, blog posts, social media content…consistently putting content out there and selling is going to help you get closer to your goals.
That consistency piece helps you with your marketing so you gain awareness and nurture your audience. It also helps you with sales because your audience knows what you offer and how you can help them.
While I don’t have a case study for every client who has crossed my path, I do have one on the majority of the successful students. You can read case studies here.

I never planned to be in sales, but here I am after 9 years and probably won’t leave.
I didn’t come out of the womb selling but having three older brothers taught me a thing or two about how to get my way.
When I graduated in 2017, I thought I would trade my Colorado casual for a pant suit and a growing career. That quickly turned into management and getting fired after 11 grueling months.
But I was on to something when my clients started making more money.. So I ran head out into teaching more sales.
If you are a female entrepreneurs who is sick and tired of being stuck in the same place, unsure how to scale your business, sign clients and enjoy.
