What Should You Sell First as a Business Owner?

I have gotten this question A LOT throughout my time as a coach.

How Do I know what offer I should sell? Why are some offers more profitable than others?

So I figured I should share the answer with you!

My #1 mission: To help you get more DREAM clients into your offers

But my mission is to also help you understand the why behind signing clients and the impact it will have on your life and your business overall.

It’s not just about the extra dollars in your bank account

it’s about the overall, long term clients that will work with you past the 90 day mark .

So here’s what you need to know:

  1. Have a clear idea on who you want to work with

You don’t want to make your ideal client someone who you think has all the money or will be willing to make the investment to work with you. When you’re motivated by money, it never will work out. Instead, focus on the type of person you can truly help and the type of person you want to work with

  1. Have a clear understanding of how your offer helps

Emotion. You need to be able to understand how your offer can help your ideal client on an emotional level. It’s more than just saving them time and helping them scale their business.

Those are vague statements and don’t do your offer any justice with connecting to your ideal clients’ pain points.

Is your offer going to help them create better boundaries so they can be present during more family dinners? Is your offer going to allow them the opportunity to leave their 9-5? Is your offer going to help them produce enough income to match their husbands income so they aren’t carrying the entire load?

Make it clear on what your offer helps them with and HOW

  1. Communicate to your ideal client

Knowing how to communicate to your ideal client and being able to communicate it, is two different things. My favorite way to communicate is by roleplaying as someone who knows nothing about business. If they can understand how and why you can help them, your dream client will understand too.

How are you going to take action today?

What Should You Sell First as a Business Owner?

Hey, I'm Meghan

I didn’t plan to end up in sales, but here I am, after 10 years, with over 350+ entrepreneurs served and probably not leaving anytime soon.

From getting fired after 11 grueling months in management to helping my clients double their revenue, I’ve learned that selling isn’t about sleazy pitches. It’s about connection, clarity, and confidence.

And now, I’m here to teach you everything I wish I had known when I started.

I TOOK MY LAST $200 AND TURNED IT INTO $200K IN MY FIRST YEAR.
