Meghan Lamle, sales coach

If you’re wondering how to make money before the end of the year – this is for you.

What’s being created right now is a direct result of what you were doing 90 days ago. What you do today is going to impact your business 90 days from now.

Think back 90 days.

What were you doing? What were you not doing?

If you feel a slow slump in your business right now, maybe you’re a mom and your kids went back to school and everything was crazy. Maybe you didn’t really feel like working on your business.

Maybe you had a bout of seasonal affective disorder or you were really burnt out because you were working 12 hour days trying to make money.

What you did 90 days ago (or what you didn’t do) – that’s going to affect how many clients you sign today.

So if you’re not seeing the results that you want today, know that it’s not unique to you. A lot of clients inside Scale to $5k encounter this same issue.

So how do you change your current situation and make money before the end of the year or the quarter?

Plan to make more money 90 days from now

One simple shift that can get you started with your 90 day plan. What can you do today? Because what you do today, you’ll experience the benefits in 3 months from now.

What this could look like:

Showing up and selling

Creating content after looking at your analytics

I get it – A lot of times you want instant results in business. You need things to work ASAP. Your launch isn’t going well. There’s this after thought of “Oh, if I could have, would have, should have…”

You have the opportunity to always choose differently in your business. Instead of constantly looking back, take yourself forward. Take small, consistent steps every single day. Shift out of reacting in your business and shift to being PROACTIVE.

Can you batch your podcast episodes, get your content done, and start to build momentum and look at the future of your business. You don’t have to do everything at once. You can start on a smaller scale and that’s okay.

Take a moment and look at your calendar. What day will it be in 90 days? Where do you want to be in 90 days? Start putting the work in for those goals today and that what’s going to help you make money before next year, next quarter, etc.

Sometimes you won’t hit every goal and that’s okay. But when you give yourself space to prepare, create consistency, that’s what’s going to propel you forward.

Follow up with every lead before the end of the year

The truth is business operates on a delayed gratification schedule. You can sign clients for people in your audience from 3 years ago. You never know when people will be ready to work with you.

In case you need more convincing, 80% of sales are closed on the 8-12th contact point vs the 2% that is closed on the first contact point.

Here’s what you can do to get started today:

Follow up with every lead that you had in the past 6 months. If they told you X was a better time, it’s time to follow up and get a call on the calendar.

You can follow up with every person who inquires with you and let them know your rates are going up but they can still lock in your old rates. Give them a deadline. A great time to do this is at the end of every year.

If you follow up with every person who inquired about your services and didn’t book, you’re going to hear no, you’re going to hear that they went with someone else. But you will also see a lot of people who put it off and didn’t take any action towards their goal.

The cool thing is, you don’t have to deliver on the project or the coaching right there and then. You can book out for months in advance and have those deposits coming in. That’s going to build stability in your business and help bring in more money by the end of the year.

What follow up looks like

If you don’t have a software like Dubsado or Honeybook, and you don’t have a lead tracker, this is your sign to get a lead tracker so you can follow back up with people. Create a workflow for following back up with people.

Following up doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as “hey, we talked about XYZ back in [date], I’m curious if you still need help around X”.

You can also schedule a call with them if you want to or just have a conversation then and there on Instagram, email, or whatever it is. Don’t overthink it.

Having sales conversations is a form of communication. It can feel easy. But it takes practice and forward thinking to get to that point where you are having sales conversations regularly. That’s going to help you sign more clients and make more money before the end of this year.

If you’re struggling with this, it’s something you can work on in Scale to $5k

The 90 Day Law in Marketing: How to make money before the end of the year

Hey, I'm Meghan

I never planned to be in sales, but here I am after 9 years and probably won’t leave.

I didn’t come out of the womb selling but having three older brothers taught me a thing or two about how to get my way.

When I graduated in 2017, I thought I would trade my Colorado casual for a pant suit and a growing career. That quickly turned into management and getting fired after 11 grueling months.

But I was on to something when my clients started making more money.. So I ran head out into teaching more sales.

If you are a female entrepreneurs who is sick and tired of being stuck in the same place, unsure how to scale your business, sign clients and enjoy.

I’m teaching you to ditch the sleaze, unaligned, and just flat out dumb sales advice. You in?

I TOOK MY LAST $200 AND TURNED IT INTO $200K IN MY FIRST YEAR.
